Today the new training year started at WEBER Verpackungen in Westerhaar. Six junior employees began their training as industrial clerks, media technologists in printing, packaging technologists or industrial mechanics, thus starting a new phase in their lives. Marion Ladkau, the company's trainer, was able to hand over a school bag for the first time to "train" the newcomers. Filled with job-specific items, such as measuring tape, knives or thread counters, but also "nerve food", the bag is intended to help the newcomers get off to a successful start! On and in the bag is the new WEBER mascot "Weavy" - an marsupial of course!

In addition to the introduction to work safety precautions, the first few days are spent discussing topics such as hygiene and corona behaviour, product portfolio and corporate identity, as well as working hours, shift models, training planning, report bookkeeping, company pension schemes and supplementary health insurance. To ensure that this does not become too theoretical, the agenda includes not only getting to know your fellow trainees but also having fun with joint team challenges!

With the start of the new year, the hot application phase for the coming 2021 training year is also getting underway! For more information and to apply directly, please contact
