As a family-owned company, sustainability is the foundation of our action. It is our aim to safeguard the future viability of our business in the long-term and, at the same time, to meet ecological and social demands. This is no contradiction for us, but the basis for economic success.
Sustainability has quite simple no alternative. Only the resources we sustain can be used.
Food packaged and sold hygienically – BRC Global Standards certification
The British Retail Consortium (BRC) defined the specific standards for suppliers of packaging for food, which are binding at a European level. With the BRC Global Standards certification we create a basis for audits and examinations for our customers that exceed the pure hygiene management and that includes and guarantees a functional quality management. This contains a consequent implementation of all hygienic rules of procedure in our modern company with the production of packaging for food.
As a manufacturing company, careful use of commodities plays an essential role for us. One example is our FSC® certification. The FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®) supports the economically sustainable, environmentally and socially responsible forest management worldwide. The FSC® label ensures that the products carrying it are made of responsibly harvested and verified resources and consist entirely of FSC® certified paper. Not only the forest but also our customers benefit from this certification when they use products made of FSC® certified paper and thus enjoy high credibility and benefit from the positive image of the FSC® label.
Furthermore, we are PEFC certified since June 2013. This certification happened by the GFA Certification and is a further proof for our sustainable corporate policy. The use of PEFC certified commodities shows the importance of a sustainable forest management for us. Ecological, economical and social criteria are equally taken into consideration. By the use of resources that originate from responsible sources, we like to provide an important contribution to preserve the ecological system forest.
The "Blue Angel" eco-label is awarded for particularly eco-friendly products and services. It is the first and most famous eco-label of the world and signs products that are more sustainable, usable and more healthful than other comparable products. That is why we are pleased to inform you that our products can be marked with the Blue Angel on request and on availability. This proof for the special environmental friendliness is a useful guidance for our customers and makes it more simple to communicate the environmental advantages of the marked products to the consumers.
By the certification according to the "WPV Verhaltenskodex" we ensure the compliance with global requirements to ethical and moral action. Furthermore, we comply with the demand of a correct behavior regarding competition and antitrust law. This means for us as well the support of fair and sustainable standards in dealing with our customers, suppliers and employees.
